Woman's
movement towards
liberation, justice and welfare workshop
was held in Pusdiklat YOA on February 28, 2016 and
participated by 74 participants who are the representation of Mata Air village
and Noelbaki village. This workshop attended by Korinus Masneno, the vice-regent of Kupang Regency;
Yohanis Mase,
Deputy Chairman of Parliament of Kupang Regency and
also Dra.Sofia Malelak, director in charge of the program and Sterling
Committee.
The
backgrounds of this program are woman’s condition now, limited education,
health and also economy condition. There are four aspects that monitored by gender
watch; include input aspect which consists of policy and budgeting; process
aspect that consists of the application of principle; good governance aspect
such as efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, accountability; result aspect in
which poor woman will receive assistance every year; and the last one is impact
aspect that refers to woman empowerment. The aims of this program are to build governments,
society, and also woman awareness in terms of policy, budget and implementation
process.
